Why another blog you might ask? A few months ago, as I was looking for a wedding dress, I found myself starring at Pinterest and Instagram feeds designed by and for young women. As I was looking at those dewy looking, wrinkle-less faces and the perfect bodies that have not yet gone through menopause, giving birth, and the law of gravity, I felt …well, lost. Not because I was envious of their youth (I once was young woman with dewy skin and the perfect body), but because I felt unheard and displaced.
Women over forty need a place where they feel welcomed and heard. They need a place where they can find fashion, beauty, and lifestyle tips that celebrate their golden age.
They need to be able to talk about menopause, hormonal and physical changes. And sometimes they just need to find the perfect outfit which is not going to make them look like they just rated their teenager daughter’s closet.
